How to Upload Your Documents
Normally you should upload your documents while completing your driver declaration. Use this guidance if a document is outstanding or you have been asked to send another file after submitting the declaration.
Use the Correct Booking Reference
Follow the upload link supplied in your booking/declaration instructions, or open the document upload service here. Enter the booking reference exactly as requested so that the documents can be matched to the correct hire.
Accepted File Types and Sizes
Use .png, .jpg/.jpeg or PDF files where supported. The maximum file size is 4MB; around 2MB is normally ideal. Files below about 0.5MB can be too low-resolution to use.
Take a Clear Photograph
- Place the document on a flat surface.
- Use bright, even lighting and turn off flash.
- Hold the camera directly above the document.
- Include all four corners and the whole page/card.
- Make sure text is sharp and readable with no glare.
- Check the image before uploading.

Proof of Address Privacy
You may obscure transaction details or balances if you wish, but the document type, account name, your name, address and date must remain clearly visible.
If an Upload Fails
Check the file type and size, then try again using a stable internet connection. On a phone, use the original/large image where practical rather than a heavily compressed copy. If the problem continues, contact us and quote your booking reference.
After Uploading
We will review the document with the rest of your booking information. Keep checking your email in case we need a clearer copy, another document or clarification.
